Diagnosed with MS in 1999, although I have my doubts if that is an accurate diagnosis. Also diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. So it's either one, the other, both, or neither.
After 6 years under a docs care I feel no better than I did in 1999, or for that matter than I did in 1994 when I first became ill. Sad that it took 5 years to get a maybe, kinda, sorta, diagnosis.
So I have officially given up on the docs, and decided to try a more natural approach to healing.
I got a book on a natural cure for MS (like I said, not even sure I have it) but it involves, an anti yeast diet, no sugar, no carbs, multivitamin. Gave up the anti-depressants which were not helping for St John's Wart. Taking Omega3 to get rid of the electrical zaps I have been getting in my brain and spine for the last 2 months, which no doc can explain. Taking Valerian Root, which is supposed to help relieve stress. Drinking lots of water, and using the patch to quit smoking.
So let's see where this journey goes.
I do not advocate anyone quitting their meds, or not following the doctor's advice. My doc and I had a long talk, and came to an agreement on this, since he is not sure what to do with me any more. So I will share my journey, use this site to track the progress, or not, of this journey.
